Why I Don’t Like to Visit Palawan

The only reason is…I want to stay so I can explore all the beautiful places such as these…

The Underground River

I grew up in this wonderful province where nature is all around and it never ceases to amaze you to witness God’s beautiful creation. Since my father discovered this place way back when I was in high school, it has been a regular destination of our family’s summer vacation and every year I never got tired of riding the boat tour inside the cave and marvel on its beauty.

As described from the UNESCO website, ” This park features a spectacular limestone karst landscape with an underground river. One of the river’s distinguishing features is that it emerges directly into the sea, and its lower portion is subject to tidal influences. “

Long Beach in San Vicente

The long-planned vacation to San Vicente and El Nido only happened last year, as I had always been away from the country because of work. Well, it has been a very exciting and satisfying experience. San Vicente has many beautiful islands and white beaches anywhere you look, as it is not so populated yet with many tourists and facilities, you will feel closer to nature in this place. It has a 14-km long white beach on the main island but you can go on boat tours and visit other small islands and to top it all there is a beautiful waterfall in one of the islands. I love to sit on the beach during sunsets while enjoying a cup of coffee, well this place will not fail to give you that breathtaking view.

El Nido

At last, my dream of visiting El Nido happened, although the weather was not so friendly in the month of January it did not hinder us to explore the beautiful islands of this famous tourist destination. And in my observation, this place has more tourists than locals, walking along the main island beach made me feel like I am not in the Philippines as it is crowded by different nationalities. Being a resident of Puerto Princesa, I was surprised that there is a part of Palawan that is more alive and busy than the main city. The nightlife in El Nido is unbelievably exciting with nice restaurants where you can have fresh seafood at an affordable price. You can also enjoy a glass of wine and shisha in some bars along the beach. But of course, the island tours are the most exciting part of the journey!

Why is Freelancing is the best option at Home for Mom’s and Dad’s

Being a stay-at-home mom or dad is a full-time job, but it doesn’t pay a full-time paycheck. This makes it difficult for some one-income families to earn enough money to pay for things they need, let alone grow their savings. Good news is, there are ways to earn money without leaving the house or sacrificing your time with the kids. These opportunities enable you to make some cash while your children are at school, asleep, or even while they’re home and wide awake!

Keep in mind that working from home requires self-discipline, organization, and focus (here are my favorite books on getting it all done with less stress). It’ll take a bit of trial and error to figure out what works best for you, and you must be driven to keep going even when you feel like giving up, or if others question your decisions. But the effort is worth it.

I present to you the atleast 5 list of flexible ways for stay at home moms and dads to earn extra cash on the side… or if you’re really motivated, earn a full time income!

Make money by flexing your creativity:

1. Make Money With Your Blog

Just about everyone’s got a blog now, right? Heck, I have more than I can count with both hands! But for good reason… it’s where I make most of my hands-free income from affiliate commissions, Google AdSense, and sponsored advertisers. You get to choose what your blog is about, when to write, what products to promote, and what types of ads to feature. Have you been curious about starting a food blog? Maybe a parenting blog? How about a marketing blog? Or a fashion blog? The possibilities are endless and getting one set up is easy as one, two, three! Check it out!

2. Affiliate Marketing

Did you know that you don’t even need to have your own products or services to earn a hefty paycheck? This is the beauty of affiliate marketing. You promote other people’s stuff and when someone buys, you collect a cut of the sale price! That’s it. No need to carry an inventory, deliver the product, or provide support to the customers! Where do you promote affiliate products? On your blog, social media, articles you write… pretty much anywhere! Here are some popular networks that offer ad links to earn some cash from:

Rakuten Linkshare – My favorite network. You can promote popular brands such as Starbucks, iTunes, and Walmart, as well as products offered by smaller companies
Amazon – They’re tied with Linkshare as my favorite network. You can promote books, audio books, video games, clothing, kitchen tools, even car parts! You can earn up to 10% commission on majority of what’s being sold on their website! They pay their associates like clockwork, which I love.

Clickbank – Their online marketplace contains tens of thousands of products to choose from, and you can earn commissions as high as 75%!
JVZoo – Huge variety of products to promote; from business, cooking, and education, to foreign language, gambling, and travel!
Shareasale – These guys have over 3,900 merchants to promote from including: Beachbody, Zazzle, Craftsy, Juleep, and Weebly. They always pay on time too!

3. Sell Custom T-Shirts

Teespring allows you to create & sell custom t-shirts with zero hassle, zero upfront costs, and zero risk! You design and promote it, and they produce and ship it! Great for reunions, sports teams, clubs, and parties!
4. Listen to Music for Cash

If you listen to music all day like I do, you’ll love this program. All you need to do is listen to unsigned bands and artists online and submit a review at Slicethepie. Active users with high reputations are earning an extra $50+ per month for just 5-10 min a day listening to some aspiring music talents. It may not seem much, but stick it in a savings account and that’s $50 more than what you had before!
5. Set Up an Online Store

You can now profit from your own online store from the comfort of your home, and setting it up is extremely easy! Many people make decent part-time and full-time income with online storefronts. Here are a few of my favorites:

  • Amazon
  • eBay
  • Zazzle
  • CafePress

There you have it! This list should be more than enough to keep you busy making money! Happy earning!

Why E-sports have become a thing

Traditionally, Basketball Volleyball Soccer and Rugby to name a few are the famous physical sports yet always watch by many folks around the world.

but when technology got in. many youngsters up to people who are into technology really get to play their favorite games and got to develop games as well. And when we talk about games. quite a few people play their favorite games i mean who doesn’t love to play games sometimes especially when we get bored right? but game developers nowadays stepped up their game.

They have made games such as DOTA (defense of the ancient) LOL (League of Legends) Call of duty and Fortnite and many more. However these games that are being mentioned have their own respective developers.

Until some games such as DOTA and LOL have entered the Online tournament(E-sports). It later became very popular since these games are being played by many gamer across the world and i’m one of those actually, but then these games played by professional players globally and have form their own teams to compete internationally.

But hold on, it doesn’t end there since those games mentioned above can only be played thru PC and/or Gaming Laptop however, “Mobile Games” are becoming a thing right now and there’s a game that actually exists and are being played by most people in Southeast Asia by way of using their smartphones.

and this is Mobile Legends, this game can be played anytime( nope don’t play it during your shift at work) and anywhere for as long you get strong connection from your carrier if you’re using mobile data unless you’re connected to a WiFi.

Mobile legends had a tournament as well that took place way back 2017. The game has become popular in Southeast Asia and will be a medal event at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.

Pagadian City ” Little Hong Kong of the South”

Pagadian City, known as the "Little Hong Kong of the South" for its mountainous terrain, is the capital of the province of Zamboanga del Sur and the regional center of the Zamboanga Peninsula
Pagadian City Rotonda

Pagadian City, known as the “Little Hong Kong of the South” for its mountainous terrain, is the capital of the province of Zamboanga del Sur and the regional center of the Zamboanga Peninsula.

This city has a port and fishing industry. The bus terminal is accessed easily and finding the right bus is easy. Cebuano/Bisaya and English are the languages spoken in Pagadian City and the Province of Zamboanga del Sur.  By bus- Pagadian can be reached from neighboring cities such as Dipolog, Ipil, Zamboanga, Ozamiz, Iligan and Cagayan de Oro by Rural Transit buses. By plane – Pagadian Airport (PAG IATA). Small airport with a 2,000 m (6,600 ft) runway that can only support small aircraft. Cebu Pacific and Cebgo has daily flights from Manila and Cebu, respectively.

The tricycles of the city became a trademark of Pagadian’s culture because of their exaggerated height compared to those in Zamboanga. This is designed for the city and neighboring municipalities because of its mountainous or hilly roads.

Best things to do in Pagadian City
Isla Putting Balas
Pulacan Falls

Isla Puting Balas Sandbars are trending right now and each province in the country seems to have a popular sandbar. Most sandbars are not very accessible and hard to go to, but Isla Puting Balas is an exception. How to get there? Ride a tricycle from the city proper and tell your driver to drop you off at Santiago Port. Ask the locals around the area for boats that you can rent going to the sandbar

Pulacan Falls Labangan is a nearby municipality from Pagadian City. We took a twenty peso bus ride and asked the driver to drop us near Pulacan Falls. After 20 minutes and a very steep ascent, the bus stopped nearby a military camp. As we alighted from the bus, we can hear the sound of water gushing from the falls which is just a few steps down the road. It was peaceful and quiet in Pulacan Falls. Trees, bushes and a worn out cemented lane paved the way to the water falls. It was a very beautiful waterfall with water gushing from different direction.

Albay, your 360° place for vacation

Mt. Mayon as see in Barangay Mabinit

Have you ever been to Albay?

Do you recall having your first visit here and wondered so much of the places you’ve stopped over in yet find out you’ve only visited a few?

For those who haven’t, ever thought of when would you want to and where to start at? Albay, for me, is your 360° place for vacation. The moment you set foot on Legaspi City, whether by plane or by bus, ask folks and they would recommend tourist places in all directions.

I’m lucky this is my father’s hometown province. I got the chance to visit Albay more than I could count with my fingers over the past two decades. I love the serene and tranquil place where my father lives and enjoy my vacation there. I’m not a regular pilgrim there but I always look forward on times I’d come back there. I got the chance to re-visit places I’ve been to and discover new places I’ve never been before.

You’ll never have to worry about getting an inn or a place to stay. There’s a lot to find there. Travel sites can help you find deals and offers that best suit your budget. If you have a friend who lives there, I’m sure he can recommend a nice place for you to stay.

Should you decide to give it a try, here are my personal choices where you can stop by and visit as many places in one go, covering as much as you can. So here you go.

Albay Wildlife and Lingnon Hill Park. These two places are adjacent. Allot a day to visit Wildlife in the morning then climb uphill to Lingnon hill mid-afternoon and stay there until the dusk.

Cagsawa Ruins and ATV Ride. Set another whole day to roam around Cagsawa Ruins park then ride the ATV and choose between the Green Lava and the Black Lava Tour.

Sumlang Lake and Quitinan Hills. Both can be found on Poblacion Camalig. If you are coming from Legaspi City, Sumlang Lake comes first then Quitinan Hills at the city proper.
