Idealist vs. Realist

After playing a popular video game, I watched the story of two brothers. The youngest has a realist personality and the elder being an idealist. It caught my attention to the distinction between Realistic and Idealist.

By doing simple research, Realist refers to a person who uses facts and past events, rather than hopeful feelings and wishes, to predict the future.

They are the person who accepts the world as it literally is and deals with it accordingly

The downside? Realists don’t get to dream of the great things that could happen if everything goes right.

Nevertheless, being an Idealist is someone who envisions an ideal world rather than the real one. As an idealist, you think everyone should act in the best interest of the group.

Some people consider idealists to be naive, impractical, and out of touch with reality. Idealists think that striving for perfection makes the world a better place.

Which side I will choose? It depends on the situation that I am dealing with. Choosing the right attitude towards the event will result in a better outcome for everybody.

How about you? Do you prefer to be realist or idealist? Let me know in the comment section which side of personality are you.

Cheers. ^_^
