Korean skincare are so trending nowadays, that even local brands are introducing them in their new collections. Many of us are admiring the Korean’s so called “glass-like” skin. I am also one of those who became an addict with K-drama, K-food and most of all K-beauty. So, to achieve that healthy glow that I adore from my favorite K-artist…I am going to share the skincare products that I use. And also the steps to have that Korean glow.
Step 1: Cleanse, I wash my face with Rivecowe Green Tea Cleansing Foam. This cleansing foam includes green tea extract that helps removes impurities and makeup without drying the skin while helping treat and prevent breakouts.
Step 2: Tone, I tried so many toners but one of my favorite is form Human Nature Hydrating Face Toner. It is 100% free of harmful chemicals. What I like about this toner is that it doesn’t sting. It also contains plant collagen and moringa seeds extract that instantly hydrates skin.
Step 3: Serum, Skinpotion Tomato Serum is a local brand. I’ve been using this for 3 years and so far, I did not have any breakouts at all. And it gives me that pinkish skin and it’s not sticky on the skin.
Step 4: Moisturize, it is very important to moisturize our skin. It keeps the skin nourished and hydrated to keep it healthy. I use Iwhite Korea Aqua Moisturizer because since it is water-based it leaves a cool and refreshing feeling on the skin. And it’s non-greasy!
Step 5: BB cream with SPF, even if I stay at home most of the time I always make sure that I apply sunscreen. I choose Rivecowe Moisture BB cream with SPF 43. It has a good coverage and evens out flaws of skin even with a small amount. It also have brightening effect.
For me, it is important that the products I used are free of harmful chemicals. And I also consider the price range of the product. I don’t depend on reviews and feedback of other people because each of us have different skin types and needs. I’d rather try it myself to see if it works or not. So far, the products I used are very effective in keeping my skin healthy and glowing. I’m 40 but I look young for my age. But of course, skincare is just one of the factors for looking young, we need to have a healthy living and a happy disposition in life.
