Sagada…the tranquility of the place will offer you the most needed soul searching. While you inhale the richness and freshness of the pine trees, feel the coolness of the breeze and be emerged with nature, your mind will have its most needed peace to think. Then at the same time you might be interested to visit the tourist sites the place has to offer.
Sagada is a small town in Mountain Province of Luzon in the Philippines. There are two ways to travel from Manila. Either u take the Coda Bus from Cubao terminal which will take you 12 hours trip or you pass by Baguio. Baguio to Sagada by buses GL Trans or Lizardo Trans will take you 5-6 hours of trip. Popular activities include trekking, exploring both caves and waterfalls, spelunking, bonfires, picnics, rappelling, visiting historical sites, nature hikes, and participating in tribal celebrations. Guides can be found upon registration at the tourist-office in Sagada Proper (the main town) for a small fee. Most of the guides are natives, also known as Kankanaey.
Places to Stay: There are a lot of Guest Houses/Inns that you may choose from depending on your preference. You may choose from the those within the town proper or you might want to have a little walk and choose those within a walking distance. If you have your own car, you might consider the ones minutes away from the town.
